award1If you are hoping to find some of the very best property professionals in the whole of Europe and Africa, then look no further than the winners of a highly acclaimed property competition. The results of the Europe & Africa Property Awards 2010 in association with Bloomberg Television have just been released and up there amongst the winners is Atlantis Real Estate. The company won an award in the category of Best European Real Estate Website and has been invited to attend a high profile gala dinner at the Park Lane Hotel in London’s Mayfair on Friday, September 24th where the presentation will take place.

The event is part of the International Property Awards, the world’s most prestigious competition that seeks to identify the best real estate professionals across the globe. By Atlantis Real Estate winning one of these coveted awards, it is clear that Belgium is not only capable of competing at this level but can also triumph within the highly competitive Europe and Africa property arenas.

Later this year, the highest scoring winners from the Europe & Africa Property Awards will compete against other winning companies from Asia Pacific, the UK, Americas and the Middle East to find the ultimate ‘World’s Best’ in each category. These results will be announced at a grand gala dinner at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, Hyde Park, London on Saturday, November 27th.

Much of the judging was carried out by the International Property Awards’ esteemed panel of judges at the London offices of Bloomberg Television but entries were also outsourced to leading experts in each particular field throughout the world. This year’s judges included Ben Wood, industry head property markets of Google UK; Peter Bolton King, group chief executive of the National Federation of Property Professionals; Christopher Hall, president elect of FIABCI; Thijs Stoffer, International Consortium of Real Estate Agents Association (ICREA); Fiona Nixon, chairman of the Australia Institute of Architects, Hendrik Nelde, president of FIABCI Belgium; Helen Shield, editor-in-chief of International Homes Luxury Collection magazine and Sven Johns, CEO of the German Real Estate Association.
